Welcome to Shree Dev Narayan Goushala Seva Samiti
🐄 The Sacred Place of the Cow in Hindu Tradition
In Hinduism, the cow holds a deeply revered and maternal status. Often addressed as Gau Mata, she symbolizes purity, compassion, and abundance. According to traditional beliefs, thirty‑three crore deities reside within the cow, making the act of feeding or serving her equivalent to honoring all divine forces.
Mythology describes Kamdhenu, the celestial wish‑fulfilling cow, as one of the fourteen sacred treasures that emerged during the churning of the cosmic ocean. Even today, symbols of the cow are believed to radiate positivity—placing a cow symbol in the East‑South‑East direction is said to reduce grief, mental distress, and anxiety.
Vastu Shastra also emphasizes the presence of a cow as a source of harmony, prosperity, and good fortune within a household.
🌿 Our Mission: Shree Dev Narayan Goushala Samiti ||

However, maintaining these standards requires continuous resources. Limited funding often restricts our ability to expand and improve the facilities essential for the well‑being of the cows.
